The Farm is an upcoming Indian reality television series, The series is the Indian version of the international TV format The Farm. Salman Khan has been selected to host the show. The series will be produced by Endemol India of Deepak Dhar. Which is scheduled to premiere sometime in between December 2015 to January 2016 and will be broadcast on Colors TV.The series is scheduled to air on Saturday and Sunday nights.
Format of Show : The concept of the show is very interesting and similar to 'Bigg Boss' but having different chalanges here too show will have celebrities but they will be staying in a farm. They will engage into various farming activities like milking the cows, poultry farming etc. They will be given proper training on farming skills also. During their stay on the farm in regular periods, one of the contestants is evicted from the farm by way of a public telephone vote. This process is continued until a final contestant is chosen and then he wins the title of the 'Top Farmer'.
International Versions: The Farm is the British version of the international TV format. It is produced by Strix. The International version had a number of celebrities appear on it during its two series run on Five between 2004 and 2005. After the second series got over in 2005, Five revealed that they would not be airing any more series of the show.
