The story of Mission Sapne 2 is completely based on the life of a common man, who faced several challenges and hardships in life to earn money. In this show, the celebrity live the life of a common man for a day on which the episode is based. The main motive of the show is to help needy people. The tagline shows "Ummid Ki Kiran Karegi Sabko Roshan" shows that it is going to show some interesting aspect of reality. 

Many Bollywood actors will participated in the show. Celebrities will directly interact with the public to do road side jobs. Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, Salman Khan, Ronit Roy and many more have participated in the assigned job and collect money from their fans. As per the reports, it is said that in 2nd season, Sonu Nigam will play a young child and will do a phoolwala job outside a Hindu Temple whereas, actress Parineeta Chopra will be seen as a bookseller.
